HEAT TREATMENTS AND BED BUGS
Heat treatment is a highly effective method for eradicating bed bugs, achieving a 100% success rate when done correctly, as it can penetrate carpets, baseboards, and upholstered furniture, unlike other treatments. Scientists have concluded that bed bugs and their eggs die within 90 minutes at 118°F and instantly at temperatures over 122°F. To ensure thoroughness, we recommend to treating each room for at least six hours once the temperature reaches 118°F. Our heaters come equipped with an internal thermostat, and we provide a handheld temperature gauge for additional monitoring during treatment. The heater system also includes powerful fans to create convection currents, which help distribute heat more evenly and increase the mortality rate of bed bugs by heating them more rapidly.
